We offer Manyokanana classes to learn about classical Japanese culture.
Manyo kana is the key to reading classical literature such as the Manyoshu.
Through the beautiful kana characters, you can get a sense of the emotions contained in Japan's oldest collection of waka poetry and the thoughts of people from long ago.
Learning here is not just about learning the characters, it is also a journey into history and culture.

I attended calligraphy classes from an early age, and although I took a break, I have always been familiar with calligraphy.
One day, I met a kana calligraphy teacher and discovered its appeal, and I have been fascinated by this world to this day.
Lesson Overview
Lessons are 1.5 hours long, twice a month, at a time of your choice.
Tuition: 2 lessons per month, 3,000 yen First trial lesson: 500 yen
*First-time visitors will receive a complimentary cup of coffee.
Don't worry if it's your first time!
Most of our users are coming into contact with Manyo Kana for the first time.
It's never too late to learn.
