In addition, my wife is fond of calligraphy such as the Manyoshu and Kokin Wakashu, and she also holds Manyo kana classes, which are also popular with local residents.
Cafe Salon Manyo is a small hideaway located in a quiet residential area in Yokote, Hidaka City.
As the name Manyo suggests, the interior of the store is decorated with hanging scrolls and Edo period Hina dolls, creating a calm atmosphere like an art museum.

We came across this house in a quiet, green neighborhood.
We opened Cafe Salon Manyo with the hope of creating a place where local people could come and enjoy their hobbies.
Some people have discovered the joy of calligraphy through the cafe, while others have discovered the joy of coffee through calligraphy.
Above all, we hope to expand our circle of fun friends through Cafe Salon Manyo.
